About us

About us

A Finnish workforce agency working with shipyards, industrial plants and construction companies since 2018.

How we got here

Adana Group was founded in Finland in 2018, starting with skilled welding crews on local shipyards. Repeat orders from the same clients quickly pushed demand beyond welding into piping, outfitting and then general construction.

Today we place nine trades across two sectors and six countries. We are still small enough that the person answering your enquiry knows the workers personally, which is the whole point - a CV database is easy to build, a pool of people you can vouch for is not.

We work as the employer of record, so the client gets the labour without taking on recruitment, payroll or posted worker administration.

How we work

  1. Only verified people

Nobody goes to site before their documents and previous experience have been checked. We would rather tell a client we have no one available than send the wrong person.

  2. A fast answer

We answer a labour enquiry within one working day with something concrete: who is available, when they can start and what it costs.

  3. The worker is looked after

Contract, pay, accommodation and travel are agreed before departure. The worker knows exactly where they are going, for how long and what they are paid for.

  4. One accountable contact

Every project has one coordinator on our side who is reachable when something on site goes wrong. Problems do not get handed on to the next person.

How workers are selected

The same four steps apply to every candidate, regardless of trade or how urgently a client needs people.

  1. Application and first screening

Every application is reviewed within two working days. We check whether the trade, experience and documents match the projects we currently have open.

  2. Interview and skills check

We talk through previous sites, language skills and readiness to work abroad. For welders we arrange a welding test where the client requires one.

  3. Document verification

We verify welder qualifications, occupational safety cards, hot work cards and trade certificates, and confirm that the right to work and insurance are in order.

  4. Placement on site

We handle contracts, accommodation and travel, and give the client a single contact who stays responsible for the crew for the whole project.

Working with us

We work with shipyards, main contractors, subcontractors and industrial plants - on single placements as much as on long framework agreements. If you have a recurring shortage in one trade, tell us and we will build a pool for it.
